This Palayam Kodan appam is a quick appam which you can make for any special occasions. It just needs a handful of ingredients and the appam turns out to be so soft.

5 Palayam Kodan pazham Mysore banana 1 cup Raw rice soaked overnight 250 Jaggery Salt pinch Cardamom 1/2 tssp Oil for frying 2 tbsn Maida
Grind soaked rice and jaggery water into a smooth semi thick paste.
Add bananas and grind well.
Pour into a large bowl and add maidha,cardamom powder and a pinch of salt.combine well
Heat oil and rop the batter little by little and deep fry over a medium flame until the color changes into golden brown
Soft and tasty Palayam Kodan Appam is ready now.
