Coconut Burfi Recipe With Milk Powder.

Coconut Burfi is one of the simplest sweet recipe for any festive occasion. Here I prepare it with fresh grated coconut,,milk,sugar,milk powder, and flavoured with cardamom powder.This can be stored in refrigerator for upto a week.

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Coconut
  • 1 cup Milk powder
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder

Instructions
 

  • Heat milk and ghee in a bottom thick non stick pan.Warm the milk for 1-2 minutes .
  • Add powdered sugar and mix it well.
  • Now add milk powder to the milk and keep it stirring continuously on a very low heat till it starts to thicken.
  • Add grated coconut or desiccated coconut, cardamom powder and mix it in the mixture.
  • Cook it till the whole mix starts to come together and form a thick mass.
  • Now grease a plate/dish with ghee and spread the hot coconut Burfi mixture with a spatula while flattering it on the surface.Garnish with chopped nuts and raisins.place it to set in the refrigerator for 30 minites .
  • Cut the coconut Burfi into desired shapes and enjoy.
