Fruit And Nut Thari Kanji

Fruit and nut thari kanji is a light sweetened hot drink made from milk and semolina.It is one of the most regular drink made at home during ifthar season.Here I use ripe plantain,cashew nuts and raisins to get an extra taste to thari kanji.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp Semolina or raga
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 chopped Ripe palantain
  • 10 cashew nuts
  • 10 raisins
  • 1 cup Water
  • Salt pinch
  • 1 tbsp ghee

Instructions
 

  • Cook the semolina in water with a pinch of salt for few minutes
  • Add chopped banana
  • Keep stirring and cook semolina and banana for 5 minutes in low flame.
  • Add coconut milk,crushed cardamom,sugar and bring it to boil.When it start boil,remove from the flame.
  • Heat ghee in a pan and roast cashew nuts and raisins in it..pour it into the thari kanji and mix well.
  • Tasty fruit and nut thari kanji is ready.
