Ash Gourd Lassi

Here is a healthy summer drink made with nutrient rich ash gourd. Ash gourd is usually preferred for sambars and sweets. But here is a different and easy lassi to beat the summer heat with ash gourd. Ash gourd, also known as Petha or Pushnikai , is generally cultivated for its nourishing and medicinal values. Its mineral and vitamin contents are calcium.

Ingredients
  

  • ash gourd 200 gms
  • curd 100ml
  • salt and sugar to taste

Instructions
 

  • cut ash gourd into cubes
  • grind it to a smooth paste
  • add salt and sugar
  • add curd and beat well
  • garnish to serve
