Drumstick Paratha

Drumstick paratha is quite an innovative paratha recipe with wheat flour based dough mixed with cooked drumstick flesh boiled potatoes. Being naturally rich in iron and folic acid, drumstick paratha makes a healthful variation to the typical roti recipe.These parathas had a unique flavor with a nice soft texture and compliments very well with cucumber raitha or even butter.

  • wheat flour 1 cup
  • drumstick 2
  • potato 1
  • salt to taste
  • onion chop 1/2 cup
  • curry leaf and coriander leaves few


  • boil drumstick in water till soft
  • peel the drumstick flesh and take cooked potato with it.
  • mix thoroughly add onion and coriander
  • add salt and wheat flour and make a soft paste
  • spread like chapatis cook both sides and serve
