Methi Thepla

Methi Thepla is a favorite Gujarati snack bread. It is very flavorful and makes for a great travel or picnic food. Theplas are an inherent part of Gujarati meals, and are used for regular meals. This is an Indian flat-bread is prepared from wheat flour, fenugreek leaves and other spices Gives a Good taste !!!

Ingredients
  

  • Wheat flour 1 cup
  • besan flour 1/4 cup
  • Fresh / dried methi leaves 2 tbsp
  • turmeric power 1/2 tsp
  • red chili powder 3/4 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • cumin seed 1/2 tsp
  • curd 2 tsp
  • oil 3 tsp

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl add wheat flour, besan flour, methi leaves, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder and cumin seed mix it
  • add curd and water and make dough
  • make a fine dough
  • take a small ball from dough and roll
  • heat the tawa and cook both the side by applying oil
  • now methi thepla is ready
