Sweet Bread Pudding

Bread pudding is a bread based dessert popular in many countries.Left over bread can be easily converted into a dessert.My family loves bread pudding very much.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Milk
  • 6 slices Bread slices
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 Egg
  • 1 piece Cinnamon
  • Pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat milk ina saucepanpan on lowflame.Add butter,vanilla essence, cinnamon ,sugar and salt.Continue cooking until butter melts.Keep it aside and cool it.
  • Remove the edges of the bread and cut into small pieces.Grease the pudding tray and fill it with bread pieces.
  • Beat the eggs and add to this milk mixture and mix well.Pour this mixture over bread.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degree. Bake it for 25 - 30 minutes or till the custard is set or the edges of the bread have browned.
  • Delicious Sweet Bread Pudding is ready. Serve with icecream.Njoi!!
