Apple Ragi Porridge

Apple ragi porridge is one of the easiest and healthy ragi recipes that one can include in the diet. It makes a good breakfast not only for babies & toddlers but to every one. Since refined sugar and salt are not recommended for babies under one year here we didn't add any sweet to the recipe. The natural sweetness of apple is enough for babies. It is optional to add jaggery or cinnamon powder to enhance the taste.

Ingredients
  

  • apple a half
  • ragi powder 2 sp
  • ghee 2 sp
  • water 150 ml

Instructions
 

  • peel apple skin and cut to small cubes and grind it.
  • in a pan stir fry ragi powder in ghee.
  • when the nice smells comes from ragi add water little by little and mix it without making lumps in it.
  • when ragi turns to a smooth paste add the beaten apple to it.
  • allow it to cool and serve
