Tandoori Chicken Biriyani

Tandoori chicken biriyani is an awesome biriyani. This is an recipe which will be lovable by all. The biriyani is cooked in basmati rice or with jeera samba rice which gives a special flavor to the biriyani. The taste of the biriyani is so royal that has never tasted before. Here the rice is cooked separately, chicken separately,and the masala is made separately . finally all three is added together and kept in dum for few mins. to give this excellent biriyani.

Ingredients
  

  • tandoori chicken 1/2 kg
  • basmati rice 1/2 kg (cooked)
  • bay leaf 2
  • cinnamon 2
  • cloves 2
  • cardamom 2
  • red chilli powder 2 sp
  • coriander powder 1 sp
  • turmeric 1/2 sp
  • tomatoes 1/2 cup
  • green chillies 2
  • ginger garlic paste 2 sp
  • mint and coriander leafs few
  • salt to taste
  • lemon juice 1 sp

Instructions
 

  • prepare 'easy tandoori chicken' as shown in my previous recipe
  • cook rice in boiling water strain it and add red food color 3 drops and leave
  • in a large vessel add oil and temper with spices
  • add onions , red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric
  • add tomatoes , green chillies, ginger garlic paste, salt
  • add mint and coriander leafs
  • add curd and get the paste set ready
  • now mix rice, chicken and the masala paste done and keep it in low flame for 5 mins and serve
