Ammachi Chicken Roast

This is a thani naadan dish using chicken ,i seen this recipe in a show called cucumber city and i tried it and used spices as per my taste ,it came out with a nice taste and my family loved it, so i thought to share it with you all.

Ingredients
  

  • For grilling
  • ginger 1 inch piece(make paste of it)
  • garlic 3 cloves(make paste)
  • kashmiri chilly powder 2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • curd 2 tablespoon
  • salt as needed
  • oil 1 tablespoon
  • For roast
  • mustard 1 tsp
  • dried red chilly 3
  • onion 1
  • green chilly 3
  • tomato 1
  • cinnamon 2 pieces
  • cardamom 3
  • clove 5
  • pepper 5
  • coriander powder 2 tsp
  • garam masala 2 tsp
  • pepper powder 1 tsp
  • chicken stalk 1 cup
  • coconut milk 1 cup
  • salt to taste.
  • curry leaves 1 or more sprigs
  • oil as needed

Instructions
 

  • Clean and slice chicken in to big pieces , make small cuts on it
  • Pour all the ingredients for grilling to the chicken .
  • Mix it well and add curry leaves on it.
  • Grill it for 20 to 25 minutes
  • After grilling take out the chicken pieces.
  • Heat a pan and oil to it.
  • Add mustard and when it splutters add dried red chilly to it.
  • Saute it well and add onion ,green chilly to it.
  • Add tomato to it
  • Saute it well and then add chilly powder, coriander powder and garam masala and spices to it.
  • Saute it well
  • Then add the grilled chicken to it
  • Add chicken stalk to it. close the pan for ten minutes.
  • Then add the coconut milk to it , let it boil stir well and then off the flame
  • Our dish is ready to serve.
