Indian Style Ginger Chicken

Indian style Ginger Chicken is an easy to make sizzling spicy chicken recipe. This is a very famous chicken preparation. Ginger not only adds a wonderful taste to this dish but also makes the dish more digestible.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Chicken cut into small pieces
  • 2 Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic /ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp Ginger cut into thin stripes
  • 4 Green chilli
  • 1 Capsicum cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp Red chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp Corn flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Coriander leaves

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the cleaned chicken pieces with turmeric, chilli powder , salt and keep it aside. Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken pieces till golden brown and keep it aside.
  • Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan, add chopped onions, ginger / garlic paste, green chilli, capsicum ,ginger and saute it well.
  • When it becomes soft, add soya , red chilli sauce and saute it again.
  • Add fried chicken pieces ,salt and coriander leaves, mix well.
  • Add corn flour to one cup of water and add to the chicken. When the gravy thickens, remove from the fire.
  • Indian Style Ginger Chicken is ready. Serve hot with chapathi or parathas.
