Samai Kozhukkattai

Samai pidi kozhukattai is an easy and healthy recipe. It is good for kids to aged people. Because it is cooked twice. Steam cooked foods are very good for health.It is One of the tastiest recipes made out of millets.It is so soft to consume.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cup Samai
  • 1/4 cup Moong dal
  • 2 chopped Onion
  • 3 chopped Green chili
  • 2 tsp Curry and coriander leaves
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard and channa dal

Instructions
 

  • In pan heat oil and temper mustard and channa dal and add onion and saute well
  • Now add onion, green chili and saute well Now add soaked moong dal and saute well Now add salt and water(2: 1 ) and curry leaves and coriander
  • When water boils add samai and cook well
  • Now allow to cool for 5 mins
  • prepare that mixture small balls and steam for 5-7 mins
  • Samai Kozhukkattai is ready to serve
