Carrot Cake

The mere fact that carrot is the main ingredient in this dessert makes the carrot cake one of the healthiest dessert options available. Ingredients
  

  • Maida 2 cups
  • Oil   1 cup
  • Eggs 2
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Grated carrot 1  1/2 cups
  • Baking powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • Soda Bicarbonate 1 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
  • Sugar powder 2 cups

Instructions
 

  • Sift Maida, salt, baking powder, soda bicarbonate and cinnamon powder together.
  • Beat eggs well
  • Add sugar and oil into beaten egg
  • Add flour slowly. Mix well
  • Add grated carrots
  • Mix the batter well
  • Smear some oil on to the cake tin and dust it with maida and prepare the cake tin
  • Pour the cake batter to the cake tin
  • Bake at 180 c for 45 to one hour. Temperature and timings may vary as per each oven settings. Adjust the temperature according to your oven settings.
  • Bake immediately after mixing. Decorate the cake according to your liking.
