Besan Bhindi Masala | Okra In Spiced Gram Flour

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Lady's finger/Vendakka
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds/Jeera
  • 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds/Perumjeerakam
  • 1 Cup Onions(sliced)
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • As reqd Salt
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 4 tsp Besan flour or gram flour

Instructions
 

  • Chop the ladies finger lengthwise into small pieces. Heat oil and add jeera and fennel seeds.
  • Add onions and stir well.
  • Stir in lady's finger and saute untill the sticky thing goes off.
  • Now add red chilli powder, garam masala, salt and besan flour.
  • Cook in slow flame until the spice coats well and turns crisp.
  • Serve the dish hot.
