Simple And Quick Garlic Curry

garlic curry is indian gravy made by cooking small onions and garlic in a spicy tamarind sauce. Simple, delicious and healthy dishes that can be made even by first timers.

Ingredients
  

  • small onion 10 no.
  • garlic 15 no.
  • tamarind water 1/2 cup
  • oil 2 tsp
  • mustard 1/2 tsp
  • broken urad dal 1/4 tsp
  • grated coconut 1/2 cup
  • tomato 1 no.
  • cumin seed 1/2

Instructions
 

  • heat the oil in the pan and temper the mustard, and broken urad dal
  • add curry leaves, small onion and garlic and saute it for 3 mins
  • add tamarind water and mix well
  • make a fine paste with grated coconut, small onion, tomato, cumin seed, sambar powder, salt and turmeric powder and add to the gravy, and allow to cook for 10 min in medium flame
  • now instant and quick garlic gravy is ready to serve
