Pineapple Coconut Kheer

pineapple coconut kheer is a fruity twist to the favourite indian dessert rice kheer. pineapple adds a very pleasing and tempting flavour to the kheer. pineapple coconut kheer is a made by preparing in two stages first the creamy milk is prepared and to it the sweet fruit is mixed to bring the tasty kheer.

  • pineapple cubes 1 cup
  • pineapple pulp 1 cup
  • milk 1 cup
  • coconut milk 1 cup
  • desiccated coconut 3 sp
  • sugar 1 cup
  • corn starch dissolved in milk 2 tbsp


  • boil milk and add coconut milk to it
  • add dried or fresh coconut to it
  • add sugar
  • add corn starch wait for the milk to thicken and wait till it comes to room temperature
  • in a pan add pineapple cubes, sugar and let it to caramelize
  • remove few pieces for garnishing
  • now pour the pulp into the pan and stir for few mins and remove
  • when both comes to room temperature mix chill it and serve with garnishing
