Sweet Potato Vatha Kuzhambhu
this is different in taste, many of used to in winter season. this is sesonal vegetable so we can do at all time. during season we use to do more. its very famous in iyer houses

1 chopped Sweet potato 2 tbsp Vatha kuzhambhu podi i already posted 15 chopped Shallots 1 string Curry leaves 1/4 cup Tamarind water 5 Garlic 1/2 tsp Mustard 1 tsp Urad and channa dal 1/4 tsp Asafeotida 1/2 tsp Jaggerry 2 tbsp Gingelly oil Salt as per taste
Clean and peel and chop sweet potato
Now in pan add oil and temper mustard, urad and channa dal
Now add shallots and garlic
Now add curry leaves and saute well
now add potato and saute well and cook for 5 minutes
Now add vatha kuzhambhu powder and mix well and salt
Now add tamarind water and boil for 2 mins and add water and bring to boil 10minutes
Now add jaggerry boil for 5 mins and turn off
Now its ready to serve
