Amla Thokku

amla is good for health. this recipe is easy and instant. and gives dish for dosa

Ingredients
  

  • amla 10 no.
  • oil 5 tsp
  • cumin seed 1/2 tsp
  • coriander seed 1/2 tsp
  • fenugreek seed 1/2 tsp
  • red chili powder 1 tsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • asafoetida 1/2 tsp
  • jaggery 2 tsp

Instructions
 

  • clean, wash the amla and remove the seed and cut it into small pieces
  • make as crumbled by grinding it in mixi
  • heat the oil in the pan
  • add the crumbled amla and mix well
  • Dry roast the cumin seed, coriander seed, and fenugreek seed and make as a powder
  • add turmeric powder, asafoetida and the masala powder with amla and mix well
  • add salt, red chili powder and mix well and allow to cook for 3 minutes
  • add jaggery and mix well
  • allow to cook until it becomes thokku consistency
  • now amla thokku is ready to serve
