Ivy Gourd / Kovakkai Pickle (andhra Style)
A finger lickingly delicious spicy pickle made with Ivy Gourd. It is simple and very easy to prepare.

- Ivy Gourd / Kovakkai 100gm
- red chili powder 1 tsp
- salt 1 tsp
- turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- oil 25 ml
- mustard 2 tsp
- fenugeek seed 2 tsp
chop the ivy gourd / kovakkai in round shape
in pan heat the oil and add ivy gourd and turmeric powder and fry it until it turn into brown colour
fry the mustard and fenugreek seed in a pan with out oil
make a powder by grinding it
in a plastic or glass bowl add ivy gourd, salt, red chili powder, oil and mustard fenugreek powder and mix well
allow for 2 days
now ivy gourd / kovakkai pickle is ready
