Kappalanga Pulingari

It is a traditional dish of kerala.it is a tasty curry for rice and chappathi.i love this curry very much.It is very easy to prepare.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Raw papaya
  • 4 Green chilly
  • 1 cup Coconut
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 2 Red chilli
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil
  • 5 Curry leaf
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • Cook raw papaya pieces with 1 cup of water and turmeric powder for 3 minutes.
  • When it cooked then switch off stove.
  • Grind coconut, cumin seeds, onion and add this ground mix to papaya mix. Add chilli powder and salt and boil for 2 minutes.
  • Heat oil in another kadai, add mustards, when it splutters add red chilli and curry leaves ,stir for a minute.
  • Add this tempering to papaya mix. Boil for a minute.
  • Now tasty kappalanga pulingary is ready.
