Vella Seedai

Vella seedai is a traditional snack prepared for Gokulashtami. I have already posted the salted version

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Homemade rice flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Urad dal
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • 1 tbslp Grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup Jaggery
  • Cardamom - 2 crushed
  • 1 tsp Sesame seed
  • Salt pinch
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Fry urad dal powder and transfer to bowl with rice flour and sesame seed, coconut.
  • Now process jaggery syrup and add in that mixture
  • Make dough and keep aside
  • Now make small ballsand keep it in news paper
  • Deep fry in oil and drain out
  • Now its ready to serve Vella seedai
