Beaten rice : 100 gm
Onion : 1 no
Chillies : 2 nos
Channa dal : 1 tsp
Mustard : 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder : a pinch
Curry leaves : as needed
Salt : as needed
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard and wait till it spurts.
Add the channa dal and fry till it turns brown.
Now add the chopped onions, slit chillies, curry leaves, turmeric powder and salt and saute till onions gets soft.
Soak the beaten rice for 5 minutes then squeeze out the water and keep it aside.
Add the beaten rice to the onion and fry till the mixture gets blended.
Serve hot with chutney.
