Yakhni Pulao

A delicious flavourful pulao

Ingredients
  

  • Boiled rice : 2 cup
  • Chicken : 200 gm
  • Carrot : 1/2 cup chopped
  • French beans : 1/2 cup chopped
  • Capsicum green : ½ cup
  • Red, yellow bell pepper : 1 cup
  • Onion paste : 1 cup
  • Whole garam masala : 1 [small stick cinnamon, 3 cloves, 3 cardamom, 1 bay leaves ]
  • Fenugreek leaves : 1 tsp crushed
  • Oil : 1 ½ tsp
  • ginger garlic paste : ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves : few
  • Chopped spring onion green : for garnish
  • Salt : to taste

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder and salt. Cook and keep it aside.
  • Grind onion and make a paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan add whole garam masala and stir for few minutes.
  • Now add ginger garlic paste and onion paste.
  • Stir till it turns light golden colour.
  • Add cooked chicken, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and cumin powder,stir.

  • Add carrot, french beans and some water. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.

  • Now add green, red and yellow capsicum, and stir well for few seconds.
  • Add boiled rice and mix well.
  • Enter Step
  • Add chopped spring onion green, fried and crushed fenugreek leaves and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Mix and remove it into a serving bowl. Serve hot.
  • Serve hot.
