Kerala Beef Curry with Coconut Milk

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kilo Beef boneless
  • 1 tsp Garlic ginger paste
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Jeera powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 nos Onions finely sliced medium size
  • Coconut milk from ½ a coconut
  • Curry leaves few
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the beef with all the dry masala and garlic ginger paste. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Cook the beef in the pressure cooker 10 whistles with one glass water.
  • Fry the sliced onions till soft, add the curry leaves and the cooked beef.
  • Dry out all the excess water. (You can remove the beef and dry out the water so that the masala paste is left.)
  • When it is dry add the cooked beef pieces and the coconut milk and bring to a boil.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rice / kerala paratha.
