Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg, Banana
  • Raisins as required
  • 1, grated Coconut
  • 2-4 tbsp Sugar
  • 2-3 Cardamom
  • Ghee as required
  • Oil to fry

Instructions
 

  • Steam cook the bananas.
  • Peel and grind it finely. Keep it aside.
  • Heat ghee in a pan and sauté raisins,coconut and sugar in it till the coconut turns light brown in colour.
  • Add cardamom and take it from flame.
  • Now take a lemon sized ball from the grinded bananas.
  • Press it finely on your hand, or a flat, clean and greased surface.
  • Take a spoon full of the coconut mixture and place it on the pressed banana.
  • Fold it slowly in your hands and shape it well.
  • Repeat the same for the remaining banana and coconut.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and fry the unnakayas in it till brown in colour.
  • Serve it as an evening snack or during breaking fast.
