Rava Upma (Step By Step Photos)

Ingredients
  

  • Sooji I cup
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Chilli
  • Curry leaves as needed
  • Mustard as needed
  • Toor dhal optional)(black gram can also be added if desired

Instructions
 

  • Chop onions, cut chilli length wise and clean the curry leaves
  • Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard and wait till spurts. Then add the toor dhal and fry till the color changes to brown
  • Add the chopped onion, chilli , curry leaves and salt and sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add water
  • When the water boils add sooji
  • Keep stirring, else the sooji will not mix well and be like small balls. Let it cook for about a minute.
  • Serve with chatni, sauce or sugar
