Paalak Paneer

An healthy side dish with paalak(Spinach) and paneer

Ingredients
  

  • 1 big Paalak
  • 200 gm Paneer
  • 6 nos Garlic
  • ½ tsp Black salt
  • 1 no Onion
  • ½ cup Curd
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander leaves paste

Instructions
 

  • Remove stems, wash spinach thoroughly in running water.
  • Blanch (partly cook) it in salted boiled water for two minutes.
  • Squeeze the excess water and grind the spinach with some coriander leaves.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and it begins to change colour, add chopped garlic and saute for half a minute.
  • Add chopped onion and chopped green chillies and saute till it becomes translucent.
  • Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, black salt and salt and saute for few seconds.
  • Add curd. Mix well.
  • Add the paalak-coriander paste and paneer cubes and mix with all the ingredients and cook till it become thick gravy.
  • Cook, until done.
