Tomato Pulao - Mumbai Special

Mumbai special pulao with tomato, paneer and capsicum

Ingredients
  

  • 2 nos Tomato
  • 2 cups Boiled rice
  • 1 nos Onion
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • 1 to Chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Tomato ketchup
  • 3 tsp Pav bhaji masala
  • 1 no Capsicum large
  • 250 gm Paneer cubes
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd
  • Coriander leaves(for garnishing)
  • ½ cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and stir for few seconds.
  • Add chopped onion and saute till it turns translucent.
  • Add chopped tomato and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add tomato ketchup and mix well.
  • Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and pav bhaji masala.
  • Add paneer cubes and capsicum and mix well again.
  • :- We can add fresh boiled green peas also.
  • Add some water and mix well. Cook for 3 minutes.
  • Once the gravy becomes thick, add boiled rice and coriander leaves. Mix well.
  • Transfer the contents to a serving bowl and serve hot.
