Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan.
Add chopped onion and saute for few minutes until onion becomes little brown.
Add chopped tomato and cook for 1 minute till tomatoes become tender.
Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and pepper powder. Mix well.
Add sprouted moong dal and mix well.
Pour 1 - 1.5 cups of water.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook on medium flame for 10 mins. Check occasionally.
Add some sugar and mix well.
Transfer the contents toa serving bowl.
Garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
