Clean and wash the Bombay duck very well.
Keep them wrapped in a towel or cloth under the weight for 5 minutes.
Remove fish from the cloth and cut into 2 pieces,
Add chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste and mix well.
Add rava and mix well. Keep for 5 minutes.
Keep a frying pan with oil on medium flame.
Fry each of the bombil pieces on both sides till it turns golden brown in colour.
Remove the fish from the frying pan into a serving plate.
Serve hot garnished with onion and curry leaves.
