Ingredients
- Bombil - 8 nos
- Chilli powder - 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Rava - 3 tsp
- Ginger(garlic paste - 1 tsp) -
- Cloth to cover the fish. -

Instructions
- Clean and wash the Bombay duck very well.
- Keep them wrapped in a towel or cloth under the weight for 5 minutes.
- Remove fish from the cloth and cut into 2 pieces,
- Add chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste and mix well.
- Add rava and mix well. Keep for 5 minutes.
- Keep a frying pan with oil on medium flame.
- Fry each of the bombil pieces on both sides till it turns golden brown in colour.
- Remove the fish from the frying pan into a serving plate.
- Serve hot garnished with onion and curry leaves.
