  • Clean and wash the Bombay duck very well.
  • Keep them wrapped in a towel or cloth under the weight for 5 minutes.
  • Remove fish from the cloth and cut into 2 pieces,
  • Add chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste and mix well.
  • Add rava and mix well. Keep for 5 minutes.
  • Keep a frying pan with oil on medium flame.
  • Fry each of the bombil pieces on both sides till it turns golden brown in colour.
  • Remove the fish from the frying pan into a serving plate.
  • Serve hot garnished with onion and curry leaves.
