Jackfruit Kachayam is very tasty and unique snack dish. We can serve the snack as a sweet dish for functions and gatherings. Actually the dish is quite innovative and a variant of banana kachayam, a traditional dish of Coimbatore. Ripe bananas are replaced with jackfruit pulp and pieces for preparing the yummy snack. In addition, we add ingredients like rawa, sugar and all purpose flour. The thick jackfruit batter is scooped into hot boiling oil and Jackfruit Kachayam is fried to a golden brown colour. Try the wonderful dish which you have never tasted before. Jackfruit was ripe and i had no heart to waste them. I wanted to use them and that is how i ended up doing kachayam.
