- Soak rice and moong dal for 30 minutes.
- Dry rice and dal in cloth under fan and make sure the rice is dry before grinding.
- Now grind this rice and dal and make sure the texture should be like rice rawa.
- In a pan dry roast this ground rice until its dry.
- Now add balance of water in rice mixture and cook till its done.
- Cook for 5 more mins till its nonsticky in pan.
- Now turn off the flame and allow to cool. In the mean time grease steamer.
- Now make this into small sizes balls and arrange in steamer. Steam for 10 minutes.
- Pillaiyarpatti Vinayagar Mothagam is ready.
