Elettaria Cardamomum Maton

MEDICINAL VALUE :
Controls heart rate, production of red blood cells and blood pressure

NUTRIENT VALUE :
Potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron and manganese

CULINERY AND OTHER VALUES :
Gahwa’, a strong cardamom coffee concoction is common among Arabs. Used commonly as flavoring agent in baked goods etc. In Europe and North America, used in curry powder and sausages. Used in perfumery and ayurvedic medicines.

hi maybe can let us know how many cardamoms .. i just found our there are black, red & white cardamom .. hope to see more in your recipes 🙂

There are two types of cardamom, one is pale green and the other black (deep brown). The pale green cardamom has a delicate aroma while the black is strong and smoky.
