Peel, wash and cube the bottlegourd.
Heat oil in a pan.
Splutter jeera, mustard and curry leaves. Stir for few seconds.
Add chopped onion and stir and allow it to turn translucent.
Add ginger garlic paste and stir well.
Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, cumin and coriander powder and mix well.
Add chopped tomato and stir till the tomatoes soften.
Add bottle gourd.
Pour 1 - 1 ½ cup water and mix all the ingredients well.
Cover with a lid and allow to cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.
