Njendu (crab) Mulakittath (Step By Step Photos)

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gms Crab
  • 1 no Onion
  • 1 no Tomato
  • 2 nos Green chilly
  • Curry leaves as required
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger
  • 4 pods Garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required

To roast for 3 minutes:

  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in clay pot.
  • SautT onions, ginger and garlic in it.
  • Add tomato, green chilly and sautT again.
  • Add the roasted masala, salt and mix well.
  • Add water and stir.
  • Then add the cleaned crab and cook covered for 15-20 minutes.
  • Add curry leaves and take it from flame.
  • Serve it hot with rice or kanji.
