Mushroom Curry Yummy

A nutricious mushroom curry

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Button mushrooms cleaned and cut in half
  • 1 Onion finely chopped, medium
  • 1 Tomato diced, small
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves roughly chopped
  • 2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add the onions and fry till golden brown. 2)Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till a nice aroma arises.
  • Add the tomatoes and cook covered on low heat, till the tomatoes turn pulpy.
  • Add chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric, garam masala and salt to taste and mix well.
  • Add the mushrooms and cook covered on low heat.
  • Once the mushrooms are cooked, add 1/2 cup water and let it boil for 5 minutes.
  • When oil floats on the surface, add the coriander leaves and remove from fire.
  • Mushroom curry is ready and serve hot with rice or roti.
