Aaloo Mutter Masala

Ingredients
  

  • 3 nos Potato cleaned and chopped
  • 1 cup Green Peas Mutter
  • 2 nos Onion chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic – 3 chopped
  • 2 nos Tomato chopped
  • Coconut oil or refined oil As reqd for frying
  • 2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing aaloo mutter masala, firstheat a pan, pour oil and add chopped onion, tomato and garlic. Fry till theyturn golden in colour.
  • Remove the fried onion from stove and allow it tocool for some time.
  • Once it cools down, grind it along with red chillypowder, turmeric powder and salt and keep it separately.
  • Again heat the cooking pan, pour some oilin it and add the ground masala. Fry for some time.
  • When this masala mix turns into browncolour, add the chopped potatoes, greenpeas, required water and boil well.
  • Cook till the potatoes and peas soften well. Put offthe stove and decorate the dish with coriander leaves/curry leaves.
  • Aaloo mutter masala can be served with chappatis,dosa, bread and even with boiled rice.
