Italian Style Rice

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups Rice
  • 1 no Onion finely chopped
  • 10-12 nos French beans chopped
  • 1 no Carrot chopped
  • 8 tbsp Tomato puree
  • 100 g Cooking cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing Italian style rice, heat ghee in a pan and fry the onions lightly.
  • Add the rice, beans and carrot. Allow it to cook for 3 minutes.
  • Add 1 cup water, tomato puree, sugar, salt and cook for another 30 minutes.
  • When the rice is almost cooked, add half the cheese and cook covered for a few minutes.
  • Italian style rice is ready. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and serve hot.
