Meen Curry In Coconut Milk

Ingredients
  

  • 8-10 sardines Sardines/Mackerels
  • 1 no Onion sliced
  • 3 nos Green chillies sliced
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger sliced
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic crushed
  • 1 tbsp Chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup Coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup Tamarind juice
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil
  • Salt As reqd
  • Curry leaves Few

Instructions
 

  • Cut, clean, wash and drain the fish pieces.
  • Put the fish pieces in an earthen pot or wok or kadai,.
  • Add cut onions, ginger, green chillies, garlic, red chilly powder, turmeric, leaves, tamarind juice, salt and little water and cook till done.
  • Add coconut milk and curry leaves. Remove from flame before boiling starts. Add coconut oil. Fish curry is ready. Enjoy.
