Instructions
For preparing moong dal khichidi, heat oil in a cooker and splutter cumin seeds.
Add in onion and saute it till it becomes translucent.
Now add in the chopped tomato and fry it.
Toss in the vegetables(peas, cauliflower, beans and carrot) and rice. Fry it for 1 minute on low flame.
Sprinkle turmeric powder, chilly powder and salt. Add 3 1/2 cup water and let it boil without lid.
When it starts boiling, add in ghee and coriander leaves. Close the cooker lid and allow it to cook on high flame. Allow it to cook for 3 whistles.
Moong dal khichidi is ready. Serve with curd or cucumber salad.
