For the Masala:

Instructions
For preparing mixed pickle, first cut carrot, beetroot, dates, bitter gourd, curry leaves, lime and mango into medium pieces.
Add chilly powder and turmeric powder into it. Mix it well and keep it aside for 10 minutes
Heat gingelly oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
Then add garlic, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves. Saute it slightly.
Now toss in the vegetables and asafoetida. Saute it for 10 minutes.
Mixed pickle is ready.
