Mixed Pickle
Different veggies are mixed in to make a tasty pickle

Curry leaves

For the Masala:

Chilly powder

tsp
Turmeric powder

tsp
Asafoetida powder
kayam

tsp
Mustard seeds
kaduku parippu

cup
Gingelly/Sesame
oil
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing mixed pickle, first cut
carrot
,
beetroot
,
dates
,
bitter gourd
,
curry leaves
, lime and
mango
into medium pieces.
Add chilly powder and
turmeric powder
into it. Mix it well and keep it aside for 10 minutes
Heat
gingelly oil
in a pan and splutter
mustard seeds
.
Then add
garlic
,
ginger
,
green chillies
and
curry leaves
. Saute it slightly.
Now toss in the vegetables and asafoetida. Saute it for 10 minutes.
Mixed pickle is ready.
