Easy Dal Curry Restaurant Style

Serve with Indian breads or rice .

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g Dal{dark orange}
  • 2 cups Water
  • Turmeric A pinch
  • Pepper powder A pinch
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 no Red dry chilly
  • Curry leaves Few
  • Ghee/coconut oil For sauting
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Boil dal with water in pressure cooker for one whistle.
  • Use a kadai vessel, heat oil, splutter mustard seeds and fry dry red chilly and curry leaves.
  • Transfer the cooked dal to kadai and add turmeric powder, pepper powder and required salt.
  • Cook for two minutes.
  • If dal thickness is more, adding water is recommended.
