- Dal{dark orange} - 100 g
- Water - 2 cups
- Turmeric(A pinch) -
- Pepper powder(A pinch) -
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Red dry chilly - 1 no
- Curry leaves(Few) -
- Ghee/coconut oil(For sauting) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Boil dal with water in pressure cooker for one whistle.
- Use a kadai vessel, heat oil, splutter mustard seeds and fry dry red chilly and curry leaves.
- Transfer the cooked dal to kadai and add turmeric powder, pepper powder and required salt.
- Cook for two minutes.
- If dal thickness is more, adding water is recommended.
