Ingredients

  • Heat oil in a pan and add sliced ladies finger/okra into it.
  • Add salt and turmeric powder. Cook the okra on medium-high heat initially without constant stirring to allow it to brown slightly and reduce sliminess. Then remove it from the flame.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add cumin and garlic. Saute for few seconds.
  • Then add sliced onion and green chilly. Saute for few minutes.
  • Now add chopped tomato and cook till it become soft.
  • In the meantime take a bowl and curd, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder. Mix well.
  • Reduce the flame and add it into the sautéed onion and tomato.
  • Then add sautéed okra and combine well.
  • Remove from the flame and add garam masala and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Rest for 15 minutes.
  • Serve along with Rice or Chappathi..
