Heat oil in a pan and add sliced ladies finger/okra into it.
Add salt and turmeric powder. Cook the okra on medium-high heat initially without constant stirring to allow it to brown slightly and reduce sliminess. Then remove it from the flame.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add cumin and garlic. Saute for few seconds.
Then add sliced onion and green chilly. Saute for few minutes.
Now add chopped tomato and cook till it become soft.
In the meantime take a bowl and curd, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder. Mix well.
Reduce the flame and add it into the sautéed onion and tomato.
Then add sautéed okra and combine well.
Remove from the flame and add garam masala and chopped coriander leaves.
Rest for 15 minutes.
Serve along with Rice or Chappathi..
