Healthy Wheat Appam

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Wheat Flour/Atta
  • 2 cups Scraped Coconut
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1 small Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt As reqd
  • Water As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing healthy wheat appam, first dissolve sugar in luke warm water and add yeast. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  • Blend the coconut, garlic and cumin seeds in a blender.
  • Mix all the ingredients together, blending the wheat flour well with your hand so no lumps are formed.
  • Add required salt and water to make the batter similar to dosa mavu. Leave it for two hours.
  • Make healthy wheat appam on a tawa, turning both sides. Serve hot with chicken curry.
