Sweet Rice Balls

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Raw rice powder
  • 200 g Roasted groundnut paste
  • 500 g Jaggery sharkara
  • 500 g Banana ground
  • 200 g Coconut grated
  • 100 g Cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp Cardamom crushed
  • 1 tsp Soda powder
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing sweet rice balls, caramelize the jaggery and strain it.
  • Mix soda powder, rice powder and salt.
  • Mix well. Add cardamom, cashew nut, groundnut paste, coconut and banana.
  • Add the jaggery and smooth batter.
  • Keep the batter for 4 hours.
  • Pour it in unniappa chatti and fry it. Sweet rice balls are ready.
