Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Dry rice flakes/Aval powdered
  • 1 no Coconut grated
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Salt As reqd
  • Water As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing kerala aval puttu, place the powdered aval in a plate. Add cardamom, sugar, salt and mix with hand.
  • Sprinkle water in between and mix with aval.
  • Take a puttu kutti and place coconut first and aval mixture, then again coconut and steam cook it for 8 minutes.
  • Kerala aval puttu is ready.
